69 is a Good Year

About the end of December every winter, we (Jon & I) anticipate the fun of one of our favorite rides -our '69 Jeep snow plow.

You see, whenever we are in a pickle with the weather ,we take out our little Faithful orange plow. Best known as "The nittle plow', out of the driveshed where it has been 'wintering' all summer, and enjoy a real old fashion Jeep ride. It is one of our favorite pastimes of the winter to spend time together in the cab of the jeep and just talk about the days events.

While this ride is only in our driveway and the concession road infront of our house, I'm sure you'll argee it is the best view in the world to us! With the current weather upon us, the "nittle plow" is getting her full workout this winter.

With all this snow Day weather we can't wait for our ride again tonight!

Cheers! and thanks for checking in,

Barbara

My Card

Finally, after painfully trying to decide on what card to make this year, I've come up with my 'final answer'. The path down the card decision road has been a hair pulling, and downright frustrating adventure, since there are so many new and great techniques and fads that come and go in the crafting world.
This nice simple card is made with Co'redinations, (paper I bought on a whim over a year ago) this cute little cat stamp (from Impression Obsession) and some Glitter Ritz.

We've had a lot of snow and cold weather, and the kids have been out building snow forts and digging trenches, and it is perfect weather to build Christmas Cards with a hot Chocolate.

Merry Christmas & thanks for checking out my blog and have a great Monday.

Under Construction

Hi - this blog is undergoing a face lift, which in real life I could use myself (if it was only that easy!) Anyway, I'm going through a bunch of things and hopefully I will get my blog sorted out to be more entertaining than I have been for the past 10 months. I have been doing a lot, so much in fact I just don't have the time to type it all out.

such as life.
thanks for stopping in.
